Notes:: There is a marriage recorded between an Agnes Philip and Robert Jardine, in Greenock West Parish 28 Sep 1853. However i've been contacted by descendents of an Agnes Philip and James Lidster who married in 1853, and it's that marriage which is indicated here.
Notes:: Information about the marriage to James Lidster and all subsequent material on Agnes Philip and her descendants was given by her descendants Heather and Alice. Her death record confirms that this is the right Agnes Philip, daughter of John Philip and Catherine Renton.
